Sustainability & Ethics

People, Planet and Products.
We are committed to both a social and corporate responsibility agenda which is our roadmap to a successful and sustainable way of working.
We support and champion wellbeing; the wellbeing of the Avani family, our partners, suppliers, and our industry at large. We champion and support the wellbeing of the world around us and are striving to exist with a reduced carbon footprint year on year, until we are 100% sustainable.
It is hugely important to us to strive to always do the right thing, it’s not always easy but we are intentionally making decisions which are positively impactful and help us towards our goals.

Our Responsibility
Right from 2012, when Avani came into being we wanted to create a better practice, using better products with intelligent application. Over time, this has enabled us to save our customers wastage, and help them on their own sustainability journey. Not resting on our laurels we are very much on an improvement journey, for our own business, and in the services we provide.
With offerings such as ProClean and ProClean PLUS we not only ensure beer tastes just as the brewer intended, and save operators money, we save at least 75% of beer that would otherwise be wasted. We document both the financial and environmental impact savings for our customers so you can quantify the improvements you make when you choose Avani.

B-Corp
At the end of 2024 we set a goal of achieving B-Corp status. B-Corp certification is overseen and granted by B Lab, a non-profit network committed to holding businesses accountable for meeting superior standards of social and environmental impact and transparency.
We are now assessing and recording every area of our business to understand firstly our carbon footprint. This work is due to be complete late spring 2025 .

Our Social Responsibility
We support our local and wider communities where we can. We work with community pubs around the country as we recognise the vital community hub they provide. For our sector, we also support two main charities Only A Pavement Away and Licensed Trade Charity via our fundraising with Hospitality Rides.
See what our team get up to below. If you would like to get involved, or would like to sponsor us (we’re always trying to raise even more!) please do get in touch.

Amanda’s Cycle Challenge
Amanda is once more taking part in the Hospitality Rides overseas fundraiser. This year the team will cycle Taiwan from 14th-20th May. It’s no easy feat, over several days she will cover 400 kilometres at varying elevations and in often difficult terrain. Along side all the hospitality riders, Amanda continues to inspire and is dedicated to helping people in need through our great sector. If you would like to support her, please get in touch by contacting us below.

Michael’s On The Run!
There is no doubt Michael puts in the miles, to deliver for hospitality and those who depend on it. Last year he was awarded Fundraiser of the Year by The Licensed Charity as a testimony to his commitment and dedication.
We couldn’t be prouder.
He is on the run again this year, with Team Avani, so please if you would like support, please get in touch below.
